The Contrary Door

Contrary Walk reverses the directional mapping after each successful step. Arm an anchor to hold the mapping for one step; the live compass makes the evolving controls explicit.

A tiny room uses its own interface as a puzzle. Reverse the controls if helpful; collect a key from the title and unlock the door from its switch.

Tap or click the controls. Keyboard: Tab and Enter/Space operate every button; arrows/WASD move where available, R restarts, Z undoes calm puzzles.

Mistakes remain revisable. Unlimited undo and restart recover deadlocks.
